Delhi NCR sixth most costly workplace rental market amongst APAC’s prime 23 cities



NEW DELHI: Delhi-NCR is the sixth most costly market amongst Asia Pacific’s prime workplace markets with an annual occupancy price of USD 78.4 per sq. foot throughout the July-September interval, in response to Knight Frank. Occupancy price contains lease, native taxes and different costs.

Hong Kong SAR continued to be APAC’s most costly workplace market throughout the quarter with an occupancy price of USD 164.7 per sq. foot per yr.
Mumbai was the ninth most costly industrial market within the APAC area with an annual occupancy price of USD 70.5 per sq. foot.
Occupancy price of prime workplace area in Bengaluru was USD 36.1 per sq. foot per yr and the town was ranked nineteenth out of 23 cities tracked throughout the APAC area.
Singapore was the second most costly adopted by Sydney, Tokyo and Seoul. Beijing ranked seventh, Ho Chi Minh Metropolis eighth and Shanghai tenth.
“Demand for workplace area in India’s largest occupier markets remained robust with over 7,00,000 sq. metre of leases sealed throughout the quarter,” the report stated.
Heightened exercise by occupiers organising International Functionality Centres (GCC) constituted the vast majority of demand, it added.
Whereas transaction volumes have grown, the marketing consultant stated that rental ranges remained steady throughout its three largest occupier markets as landlords centered on elevating occupancy ranges.
