NEW DELHI: IRB Infrastructure Belief, the personal InvIT of IRB, has acquired the letter of award from NHAI for Rs 4,428 crore street venture. This award takes the corporate’s asset base to Rs 75,000 crore, IRB Infrastructure mentioned in a press release on Sunday.
“IRB Infrastructure Belief (Personal InvIT) receives the Letter of Award (LoA) from NHAI (Nationwide Highways Authority of India) for Rs 4,428 crore Lalitpur-Lakhnadon NH 44, TOT-12 venture for the income linked concession of 20 years,” the assertion mentioned.
The venture entails tolling and operation and upkeep (O&M) actions on the biggest single steady stretch of 316 km (1,264 lane km) on the North-South hall of NH44.
The Belief lately emerged as a most popular bidder for the Toll-Function-Switch (TOT) mannequin for the revenue-linked concession of 20 years, which marked the IRB Group’s entry into Madhya Pradesh.
IRB Infrastructure Builders Chairman and Managing Director Virendra D Mhaiskar mentioned, “We’re proud to take our footprint to Madhya Pradesh, the twelfth one for us by including this prestigious venture to our portfolio. This has taken our asset base to Rs 75,000 crore in Amrit Kaal and share in TOT area to 42 per cent, the biggest by any personal participant in India”.
The TOT-12 venture from Lalitpur to Lakhnadon is the only largest main freeway hyperlink of 316 Kms (1,264 Lane Kms) between Srinagar in North and Kanyakumari in South, the corporate assertion mentioned.
The venture covers prime cities in Madhya Pradesh, Lalitpur, Gwalior, Sagar, Narsinghpur and Lakhnadon.
The stretch has 4 toll plazas located at Malthone, Chitora, Titarpani and Bakori.
The stretch envisages robust visibility of site visitors for NH 44 on account of upcoming developments like Hyderabad-Nagpur Industrial Hall, Hyderabad-Bangalore Industrial Hall and Hyderabad Warangal Industrial Hall.
