MUMBAI: A person was arrested for allegedly black advertising tickets of the World Cup cricket semi last between India and New Zealand to be performed in Mumbai’s Wankhede stadium on Wednesday, a police official stated.
Akash Kothari was held from his house in Malad within the northern a part of the metropolis by a workforce of JJ police station, he stated.
As per Whatsapp messages circulating in numerous teams, the tickets have been being bought within the vary of Rs 27,000 to Rs 2.5 lakh, the official stated.
“He was promoting the tickets at 4 to 5 instances its unique price. He has been charged for dishonest and different offences underneath sections 420 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code,” the official stated.
