Tata Metal: Tata Metal says to scrap 800 jobs within the Netherlands

THE HAGUE: Steelmaking large Tata Metal introduced Monday it was scrapping 800 jobs at its under-pressure plant in The Netherlands to “enhance market situations and convey down prices.”
“The metal market has been in dire straits for a while. In an effort to stay structurally aggressive and worthwhile now and sooner or later, Tata Metal Netherlands is taking vital measures, together with a discount of 800 jobs in IJmuiden” close to Amsterdam, the corporate mentioned in a press release.
