NEW DELHI: As IPL giants Mumbai Indians on Friday named Hardik Pandya their skipper forward of the 2024 version of the event, the franchise additionally thanked a highly-successful Rohit Sharma for his exemplary companies.
In a heartwarming video shared on social media, the five-time champions labelled Rohit as their ‘ceaselessly captain’, highlighting that his legacy can be etched in Blue & Gold.
Rohit took over the captaincy of the franchise in 2013, taking them to title triumphs in — 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020 respectively.
