Hezbollah targets Israel air base with barrage of rockets in ‘response’ to Hamas chief’s killing

In response to the killing of Hamas chief Sheikh Saleh al-Arouri in Beirut final week, Lebanese armed group Hezbollah on Saturday claimed to have focused a vital Israeli navy publish with a barrage of as many as 62 guided missiles, Al Jazeera reported.

The assault, Hezbollah stated, was a “preliminary response” to the killing of a Hamas chief in Beirut this week.

“As a part of the preliminary response to the crime of assassinating the nice chief Sheikh Saleh al-Arouri, the Islamic resistance (Hezbollah) focused the Meron air management base with 62 varied forms of missiles,” the Iran-aligned group stated in a press release after conducting strikes in northern Israel.

In response to the Hezbollah assault, Israeli navy stated that it hit again by hanging a “terrorist cell” that took half within the launches, Al Jazeera reported. There have been no fast experiences of casualties or injury.

In the meantime, sources stated that the Israeli Air Power weren’t capable of take off their fighter jets from Meron air management base within the North because the runway was broken by Hezbollah missiles.

The deputy chief of Hamas, Saleh al-Arouri, was killed in a drone strike on Tuesday within the southern suburb of Beirut, whereas he was assembly with a bunch of Palestinian and Lebanese males from factions allied to Hamas.

The assault was broadly attributed to Israel. Nevertheless, Israel has neither confirmed nor denied that it assassinated Arouri.
