Labour chief Sir Keir Starmer mentioned paperwork from 2022 confirmed prime minister Rishi Sunak wished to reduce plans to ship asylum seekers to Africa.
Mr Sunak says neither Sir Keir had seen the paperwork in query and that “an efficient deterrence” was wanted to resolve the boats arriving within the UK. The feedback have been allegedly made whereas Boris Johnson was prime minister.
Sir Keir added he didn’t imagine in a controlling migration and that the Labour chief picked the “folks smugglers over the British folks”.
