The prime minister has stated the air strikes ordered towards Houthi “navy targets” in Yemen have been an act of “self-defence”.
Talking in Ukraine, he stated Houthi assaults on industrial transport within the Pink Sea, placing lives at risk and disrupting worldwide commerce, “cannot stick with it”.
Requested why he had not recalled Parliament earlier than the navy motion, he stated the strikes have been “restricted and vital”, and he would take questions from MPs throughout the Commons on Monday.
