The US Central Command mentioned on Saturday that US forces performed strikes in self-defense towards six Houthi anti-ship cruise missiles ready to launch towards ships within the Purple Sea.
US forces recognized the cruise missiles in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen and decided they introduced an imminent risk to US Navy ships and service provider vessels within the area, the assertion added.
