MDU Students Shine in Republic Day Parade, Aspire for Bright Futures

ROHTAK: Two Maharshi Dayanand College college students, Dikshita Gulia and Akansha, stood proudly among the many distinguished 200 feminine volunteers of the Nationwide Service Scheme (NSS) contingent, showcasing their march-past expertise on Kartavya Path throughout the Republic Day celebrations.
Hailing from the villages of Jhajjar and Sonipat, these MDU college students, who just lately returned from Delhi, shared a transformative and empowering expertise throughout their participation within the Republic Day parade.
Speaking to TOI, Dikshita, a local of Badhsa village in Jhajjar district, elaborated on the rigorous choice course of, which concerned screening on the school, college, state, and pre-Republic Day ranges. She talked about that after a month of rigorous rehearsal and observe, the chosen 200 feminine volunteers, together with herself and Akansha, walked on Kartavya Path alongside the contingent of the Indian armed forces.
Akansha highlighted that NSS volunteers had been chosen based mostly on their dedication to social work, similar to taking part in cleanliness drives, consciousness campaigns, and shouldering tasks in direction of society.
