The Mughal Empire was a various and multicultural empire, with individuals of various religions, languages, and cultures residing underneath its rule. The Mughal rulers, particularly Akbar, tried to advertise a tradition of tolerance and concord amongst their topics, and inspired the event of artwork, literature, and structure. Nonetheless, underneath the later Mughal rulers, the tradition of the empire deteriorated and have become inflexible and illiberal. The spiritual insurance policies of Aurangzeb and his successors created a rift between the Muslims and the non-Muslims, and led to communal violence and hatred. The Mughal Empire misplaced its cultural id and cohesion, and have become divided and fragmented.
