Though Karan Johar had a pleasing childhood, he did obtain a ‘whack’ from his mom Hiroo Johar at one time in his life. Karan laughed as he opened up about that incident in a current interview. In a chat on the ‘Be A Man Yaar podcast’, Karan revealed that he couldn’t tie his shoelaces when he was 12. “That was me in that scene… not having the ability to tie shoelaces is me. In truth, the one time I received a whack from my mother was as a result of, at age 12, I couldn’t tie my shoelaces,” he recalled.
The filmmaker then opened up concerning the motive why he was unable to tie his shoelaces. He stated, “You already know why I couldn’t tie my shoelaces? As a result of I couldn’t bend, my abdomen was coming in the best way. It was ridiculously spoiled of me.”
