GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday reviewed the working of ‘Pragyan Bharti’, a fee-waiver scheme free of charge admission in educational institutes below the state’s Increased Schooling Division. In line with the scheme, all college students whose parental incomes are lower than Rs 2 lakh each year are eligible free of charge admission for pursuing larger schooling programs within the state.
