NEW DELHI: As a result of a groin damage sustained in Pakistan, Bangladesh pacer Shoriful Islam will miss this month’s two-Check sequence in India, the nation’s cricket board introduced on Thursday.

The 23-year-old Shoriful, who took three wickets within the first Check in Rawalpindi, was injured and was unable to play within the second match.
“Left-arm paceman Shoriful Islam continues to be recovering from a groin damage and was unavailable for the sequence,” the Bangladesh Cricket Board stated as per Reuters after naming a 16-member squad for the India tour.
Though Litton Das is predicted to keep up the gloves after smashing a match-winning century within the second Check towards Pakistan, Jaker Ali Anik has been roped in because the backup wicketkeeper.
