THANE: A gasoline leak was reported late Thursday evening at a chemical firm in Ambarnath’s Morivali MIDC within the district of Thane in Maharashtra. Following the incident, residents of Morivali MIDC and surrounding areas complained of eye irritation and problem in respiration.
After getting details about the incident, the hearth brigade crew reached the spot and began investigating.As a result of gasoline leakage, there’s a haze in the complete space. The incident is claimed to have occurred round 11.15 pm.
Speaking to TOI, Bhagwat Sonawane, chief fireplace officer of Ambernath Hearth Brigade, confirmed the gasoline leakage from an organization, saying, “We’ve reached the spot and now the leakage has diminished.”
