NEW DELHI: Delhi Police has registered an FIR in regards to the bursting of firecrackers exterior chief minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence in Civil Strains.
The incident occurred on Friday after Kejriwal was launched from Tihar Jail.
The Delhi authorities introduced a ban on the manufacturing, sale, and use of firecrackers within the metropolis to regulate air air pollution through the winter season on Monday.
Police officers have booked unknown individuals underneath Part 223 (disobedience to orders promulgated by a public servant) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita on the Civil Strains Police Station.
An official said, “A case underneath part 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita has been registered in opposition to unknown individuals.”
Kejriwal was granted bail by the Supreme Courtroom on Friday in a corruption case involving the Delhi excise coverage filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
