NEW DELHI: The BAPS Swaminarayan Temple in New York’s Melville was vandalised on Monday. The Indian consulate in New York expressed robust disapproval of the act, labelling it “unacceptable.”
In response, the consulate has been in shut contact with the native Indian-American group and has urged US regulation enforcement companies to take swift motion towards these accountable for the assault.Authorities at the moment are investigating the incident, and efforts are underway to convey the perpetrators to justice.
The Indian Consulate took the incident to X to precise its dismay. The Consulate posted, “The vandalism of the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple in Melville, New York, is unacceptable; The Consulate @IndiainNewYork is in contact with the group and has raised the matter with US regulation enforcement authorities for immediate motion towards the perpetrators of this heinous act.”
