In a current letter despatched to EY’s India chief Rajiv Memani earlier this week, Perayil’s mom Anita Augustine blamed the corporate’s ‘work stress’ for the tragic demise of her daughter.
In an interview with the information company IANS, Perayil’s father Sibi Joseph stated his daughter was “hardly getting any sleep and was unable to eat correct meals,” throughout her tenure with EY. Regardless of her guardian’s recommendation to resign from the job, Perayil insisted on persevering with to work on the “reputed agency”, her father added.
