NEW DELHI: The World Metal Affiliation (worldsteel), a worldwide organisation, introduced on Tuesday that Thachat Viswanath Narendran, the managing director and CEO of Tata Metal, has been elected as its chairman.
Narendran is the second Indian to carry this place, following JSW Group chairman Sajjan Jindal, who was elected as worldsteel Chairman in 2021.
