J&K crackdown: Terror recruitment module busted after raids in 7 districts; 40 picked up for questioning over Ganderbal attack

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police’s counter-intelligence wing on Tuesday dismantled a recruitment module of Tehreek-Labaik-Ya-Muslim (TLM), a newly shaped terrorist outfit believed to be an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), following raids at 10 areas throughout seven districts.
In line with an announcement by Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK), a Pakistani LeT handler going by the alias of ‘Baba Hamas’ was working the module that was actively concerned in mobilising, radicalising and recruiting the youths of Kashmir for terror actions, via social media and different means.
