A Polish radio station has triggered controversy after dismissing its journalists and relaunching with AI-generated “presenters.”
Weeks after letting its journalists go, OFF Radio Krakow relaunched this week, with what it stated was “the primary experiment in Poland during which journalists … are digital characters created by AI.”
The station within the southern metropolis of Krakow stated its three avatars are designed to achieve youthful listeners by talking about cultural, artwork, and social points together with the considerations of LGBTQ+ folks.
