CHENNAI: Round 160 passengers onboard an IndiGo flight from Jaipur on Saturday had been puzzled because the flight took off quickly after touching down at Chennai airport. Airport authorities clarified that it was because of the lengthy float of the flight into the runway brought on by crosswinds.
The flight touched down on the principal runway past the edge level. The alert pilot, realising the flight may not have sufficient runway house to decelerate, determined to take off instantly. Nonetheless, nothing untoward occurred to the passengers within the incident.
The flight (6E265) from Jaipur normally reaches Chennai at 1.05 pm. On Saturday, it arrived a little bit earlier and was about to land at 12.45pm. Nonetheless, as a result of crosswinds, the pilot couldn’t contact down initially of the runway, and the flight floated in and touched the center of the runway. The flight took off instantly, went round and landed once more at 12.58 pm.
