Gary Kirsten quits as Pakistan white-ball coach 6 months after becoming a member of

Gary Kirsten has resigned as Pakistan’s white-ball coach barely six months after taking over the job, the nation’s cricket board mentioned on Monday (October 28, 2024).

Take a look at coach Jason Gillespie will fill in for Kirsten of their limited-overs tour of Australia starting subsequent week, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) mentioned on X.

“…Jason Gillespie will coach the Pakistan males’s cricket group on subsequent month’s white-ball tour of Australia after Gary Kirsten submitted his resignation, which was accepted,” the PCB mentioned.

The PCB put South African Kirsten, who coached India to the 2011 ODI World Cup victory, accountable for Pakistan’s one-day and T20 Worldwide groups in April this 12 months.

Kirsten was not current when the PCB unveiled wicketkeeper Mohmmad Rizwan as the brand new white-ball captain on Sunday changing Babar Azam.
