Saks Fifth Avenue mum or dad HBC stated on Thursday it should purchase Neiman Marcus Group in a $2.65 billion deal combining the storied retailers.

The mix will set up Saks World, which can embody Saks Fifth Avenue, Saks OFF 5TH, Neiman Marcus’ namesake division retailer chain and Bergdorf Goodman.
