Anita Dungdung (two) and Shaulina Dang scored the targets as St. Patrick’s Excessive Faculty, Gumla, defended its title with a 3-0 victory over Authorities Senior Secondary Faculty, Alakhpura, Bhiwani, within the under-17 women last of the 62nd Subroto Cup soccer match on the Ambedkar Stadium on Tuesday.

The champion staff was introduced the trophy by Air Marshal A.P. Singh, Vice-Chief of the Air Workers, together with a cheque for Rs. 3,50,000. The runner-up trophy and a money award of Rs. 2,00,000 was introduced by Air Marshal P.Ok. Ghosh, Director Normal.

Anita was adjudged the player-of-the-tournament and introduced Rs. 40,000. Suraj Muni of St. Patrick’s Faculty was introduced the most effective goalkeeper award and a money prize of Rs. 25,000. The most effective coach award was given to Beena Kerketta of the Jharkhand staff.

General, 32 groups competed within the under-17 women occasion, together with groups from Jammu and Kashmir, and one from Bangladesh.
