A complete of 11 Bangladeshis have been arrested in Tripura for allegedly coming into India with out legitimate paperwork, Agartala Authorities Railway Police (GRP) mentioned on Sunday (September 22, 2024).

“Three of their Indian facilitators have additionally been nabbed,” a GRP officer mentioned.

Appearing on a tip-off, a GRP group nabbed the Bangladeshis at Agartala railway station on Saturday (September 21, 2024) night once they have been planning to go to Chennai and Ahmedabad by prepare.

They have been detained and brought to Agartala Authorities Railway Police (GRP) station and through interrogation, they confessed to having crossed the worldwide border illegally and that they have been planning to go to Chennai and Ahmedabad, officer-in-charge Tapan Das mentioned.

He mentioned the 11 Bangladeshis and three Indians have been produced earlier than a neighborhood courtroom on Sunday (September 22, 2024) looking for police remand.
