Mehbooba Mufti cancels J&K election campaign for a day after death of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasarallah

“Cancelling my marketing campaign tomorrow in solidarity with the martyrs of Lebanon & Gaza, particularly Hassan Nasarullah,” Mufti mentioned.

“We stand with the individuals of Palestine & Lebanon on this hour of immense grief & exemplary resistance,” she added.
The Israeli navy introduced on Saturday that it “eradicated” Hassan Nasrallah, the long-time chief of the Hezbollah militant group, in a precision airstrike in Beirut on the day prior to this. Within the assertion, the IDF declared, “Hassan Nasrallah will not be capable of terrorise the world.”
The strike reportedly focused a gathering of Hezbollah leaders at their headquarters in Dahiyeh, a southern suburb of the Lebanese capital.
In the meantime, elections in Jammu and Kashmir are being held in three phases. Voting for twenty-four seats was held within the first section on September 18. The subsequent section of polling for 26 seats was held on September 25.
Voting for the third section can be held on October 1 whereas outcomes can be declared on October 8.
