North Korea‘s defence ministry has ordered its artillery models close to the border with South Korea to be ready to open hearth, based on the Korean Central Information Company (KCNA). The order was issued on October 12 by the common workers of the Korean Individuals’s Military (KPA) and was in response to alleged unmanned drones despatched by South Korea carrying propaganda leaflets into Pyongyang’s airspace.
The order instructed “eight artillery brigades totally armed at full wartime power on standby to open hearth” till 8 pm on Sunday. Moreover, different models have been directed to intensify their monitoring and stay on full alert, whereas anti-air remark posts in Pyongyang have been strengthened.
North Korea claimed that South Korea had despatched drones carrying propaganda leaflets on October 3, and once more on Wednesday and Thursday of final week.
