NEW DELHI: A fireplace broke out on Wednesday afternoon at Sandhya Bazar close to Anwar Shah Highway in south Kolkata, a Hearth Brigade official reported.
The blaze, which began round 3:20 pm, was introduced below management by 4:50 pm after 16 fireplace tenders had been deployed to the scene.
An X person shared a video on social media exhibiting fireplace brigade personnel actively working to extinguish the blaze within the market.
In line with a police officer, no accidents had been reported.
Firefighters managed to include the fireplace in about an hour and a half, stopping additional injury within the busy market space.
