Southwest Airways aircraft hit by bullet at Dallas airport

A Southwest Airways aircraft making ready for takeoff at Texas’ Dallas Love Area on Friday evening was struck by a bullet, prompting the plane to return to the terminal, in accordance with the airline’s assertion.
“Southwest Airways Flight 2494 was set to depart for Indianapolis when a bullet apparently struck the proper facet of the aircraft, slightly below the flight deck, because the crew was making ready for takeoff,” a Southwest spokesperson stated, as quoted by Reuters. “No accidents have been reported. Legislation enforcement authorities have been notified and the aircraft has been faraway from service.”
The Us-based airways’ flight was scheduled to fly from Dallas to Indianapolis when the incident occurred.
The safety incident passed off at roughly 9.50 pm native time, in accordance with Dallas Love Area Airport, which prompted each Dallas police and Dallas Hearth-Rescue to reply.
The airport launched a press release, confirming that passengers have been safely evacuated after the plane was broken.
