NEW DELHI: A 24-year-old girl has been arrested in Mumbai for allegedly issuing a dying menace to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in keeping with Mumbai Police. The message claimed that if Adityanath doesn’t resign in 10 days, he shall be killed like Baba Siddique.
The menace was despatched to the Mumbai Police Visitors Management Room from an unknown quantity. The girl, Fatima Khan, who has a BSc in Data Expertise, was arrested from Ulhasnagar in Thane district, Maharashtra. She resides there together with her household, and her father is concerned within the timber enterprise.
On Saturday, the Mumbai visitors police obtained a threatening message on their WhatsApp quantity. The message said that if Adityanath didn’t resign inside 10 days, he could be killed, much like how NCP chief Baba Siddique was killed, the official stated.
Investigations led the police to establish Khan because the sender of the message. The Mumbai Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), together with Ulhasnagar police, performed a joint operation to apprehend her.
The police knowledgeable that Khan is certified however mentally unstable. They’re persevering with their investigation into the matter.
The alert comes as Adityanath is predicted to go to Maharashtra to marketing campaign for the upcoming state meeting polls on November 20, officers added.
