Former Pakistan Test coach Jason Gillespie labelled his successor Aaqib Javed a “clown” and accused the previous quick bowler of undermining him and ex-white-ball coach Gary Kirsten with the intention to take cost of the nationwide workforce throughout all codecs.
Gillespie’s feedback have been in reply to a social media publish containing quotes from Javed a few days after hosts Pakistan had crashed out of the Champions Trophy with out a win.
Javed informed reporters on Tuesday (March 4, 2025) that Pakistan had modified 16 coaches and 26 selectors in round two years and any facet would wrestle in such circumstances.
“This is hilarious,” Australian Gillespie mentioned on social media. “Aaqib was clearly undermining Gary and I behind the scenes campaigning to be the coach in all formats. He is a clown.”
