Rohit Sharma reserved his greatest for the final on and off the sector. The skipper guided the Men in Blue to a file third ICC Champions Trophy title by top-scoring in the ultimate.

Later, Rohit was at his chirpy greatest in the post-match press conference. After patiently answering questions from the scribes for greater than 20 minutes, Rohit left the stage with a parting shot that may convey pleasure to followers worldwide.

“I am not going to retire from this format. I want to make sure that no rumours are spread,” mentioned Rohit as he exited the room.

On the workforce’s triumph, the 37-year-old remarked that he was happy that everybody contributed to the workforce’s trigger.

“In this tournament, we have seen that from the first match till now, all the boys have contributed. If you see from No.1 to 11, the boys who have had the chance to bat or bowl, they contributed in their own way. Eventually, when everyone plays together and a lot of people contribute, you get a lot of success consistently.”

Rohit commented on his efficiency, “I did the same thing today [as in the previous games]. I wanted to score in the PowerPlay as once the field spreads out it becomes difficult [to score]. So you have to take chances at the top. I pick the bowlers and the spots to hit.”

“You may not see consistency in scores, but I know what I’m doing. I changed my game after 10 overs. You get a lot of happiness when you win a match, and when you make a contribution to it, it feels even better. In the 2019 World Cup I had a good run but we didn’t win the title. It was not fun.”
