Director Lokesh Kanagaraj and actor Karthi have teamed up Kaithi 2. The movie, sequel to the 2019 hit Tamil movie, will likely be bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures and KVN Productions.
Karthi took to X to announce the event. The actor posted images of him with Lokesh and producer S R Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures.
“Dilli Returns,” Karthi wrote, mentioning his character identify from the film. Kaithi, produced by Dream Warrior Pictures and Vivekananda Pictures, was a couple of prisoner who faces a scenario of driving poisoned cops to the hospital whilst he faces the hurdle of overcoming a sequence of criminals on the way in which.
A one-night story, Kaithi was an motion drama, with Anbariv masters dealing with the motion choreography. Sathyan Sooryan was the cinematographer and Sam CS had composed music.
Kaithi is the primary movie within the filmmaker’s Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). Vikram, starring Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi, and the Vijay-starrer Leo are the opposite two motion pictures in LCU.

Lokesh is presently filming Coolie, starring celebrity Rajinikanth. The movie’s ensemble solid contains Akkineni Nagarjuna, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir and Sathyaraj. Pooja Hegde is prone to play a cameo within the film. Rumours are rife that Bollywood celebrity Amir Khan can also be a part of the highly-anticipated film, produced by Sun Pictures.
