Heatwave in India: In view of the continuing warmth wave, the Odisha authorities has rescheduled the school timings for class 1 to 12, with fast impact.
The school timing for Class-I to CIass-XII have been rescheduled from 6:30 A.M to 10.30 AM, as per the newest notification from the School and Mass Education division of Odisha.
Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari instructed reporters that ongoing school examinations will finish on March 27, and after that, courses will begin from April 2.
Anganwadi centres may even operate from 7 am to 9 am in the course of the summer time, he added.
Pujari additional added that a number of areas throughout Odisha, resembling Boudh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Bolangir, and Sundargarh are already experiencing heatwave circumstances.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD), on Thursday, issued heatwave alerts for a number of areas throughout the nation, together with Delhi, Karnataka, Goa, and Jharkhand.
