BEHRAMPORE/KOLKATA: Following violent protests in Murshidabad towards the brand new waqf law, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on Saturday appealed for peace, and requested folks to not indulge in “irreligious behaviour in the name of religion”, whereas insisting that the brand new amended waqf law wouldn’t be implemented in Bengal.
