A British Airways workers member was found dead in his lodge lodging during a stopover within the US.
The return journey to Britain was cancelled by distressed crew members after they found his physique at their San Francisco lodging on Tuesday.
Concern arose when the popular flight attendant didn’t seem for the scheduled return service to Heathrow after being within the metropolis for 48 hours.
The flight deck crew departed for San Francisco airport individually, while different crew members waited within the lodge foyer. Upon his non-appearance, they have been taken to his room, the place he had reportedly remained undiscovered for 2 days. Investigations into the reason for loss of life are ongoing.
The cancellation affected quite a few travellers, who acquired lodge lodging and have been subsequently rebooked on different flights.
A supply informed The Sun: “There was no way the flight back from San Francisco could go ahead. Staff were in absolute bits at the sudden loss of their friend. The steward was a popular member of the team and this came as a bolt from the blue.”
British Airways verified that the person was their worker. In an announcement to The Independent the airline stated: “Our thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends of our colleague at this difficult time.”
