President Donald Trump mocked former President Joe Biden on Monday throughout the annual White House Easter Egg Roll, mentioning a viral 2022 moment involving Biden and an aide dressed because the Easter Bunny.
Standing alongside First Lady Melania Trump and mingling with visitors on the South Lawn, Trump joked about a now-infamous clip from Biden’s presidency.

In the video, a costumed Easter Bunny — later recognized as a White House aide — intervened as Biden spoke to reporters about overseas coverage, steering him away mid-conversation.
“Do you remember the bunny with Joe Biden?” Trump requested the group. “Remember? Do you remember when the bunny took Joe Biden out? He’s not taking Trump out. That was a beautiful moment, when the bunny saved Joe Biden.”

He doubled down on the jab shortly after, asking once more: “You remember when the bunny saved Joe Biden? The bunny’s not going to save me, right? I got a better bunny.”

Trump’s remarks drew laughter from attendees and Melania Trump, and have been later featured on official White House social media accounts, together with archival footage of Biden’s 2022 moment.
