Earthquake of magnitude 6.2 jolts Turkey’s Istanbul

A robust tremor of 6.2 magnitude shook Turkey‘s Istanbul and the encircling areas on Wednesday, reported AFP.
The earthquake was centered within the Sea of Marmara off Istanbul.
There had been no speedy stories of harm or accidents.
A robust 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck on February 6, 2023, adopted by one other main tremor simply hours later, devastating 11 provinces in southern and southeastern Turkey.
The twin quakes destroyed or broken tons of of 1000’s of buildings and claimed the lives of over 53,000 individuals. In neighboring Syria’s northern areas, the catastrophe killed an extra 6,000 people.
