ICAI CA September 2025 exam schedule launched: Check dates, time and more

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Friday formally introduced the examination schedule for CA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final programs for the September 2025 try on its official web site.

The ICAI made the announcement through an official round dated 30 May 2025.

Depending on the variety of candidates showing for the exam, the board will conduct examinations at numerous centres throughout the nation.

Here is the whole schedule:

Final Course Examination Dates:

Group I: 3, 6, and 8 September 2025

Group II: 10, 12, and 14 September 2025

Intermediate Course Examination Dates:

Group I: 4, 7, and 9 September 2025

Group II: 11, 13, and 15 September 2025

Foundation Course Examination Dates:

Foundation Papers: 16, 18, 20, and 22 September 2025

Among different particulars, the ICAI acknowledged that no examination is scheduled on September 5, 2025 (Friday), on account of Milad un Nabi, a gazetted Central Government vacation

“There would be no change in the examination schedule in the event of any day of the examination schedule being declared a public holiday by the Central Government or any State Government / Local Bodies,” the ICAI mentioned.

The ICAI offered more details about the exam’s period: most papers will final 3 hours (2 PM to five PM IST), whereas Paper 6 of the Final exam will final 4 hours (2 PM to six PM IST).

Papers 3 and 4 shall be two hours every. Candidates could have quarter-hour of advance studying from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM, aside from Papers 3 and 4 of the Foundation Exam and MCQ-based sections, added ICAI.

The ICAI suggested the candidates to test the detailed exam schedule on the official ICAI web site and begin their preparations accordingly.
