NEW DELHI: In a grotesque act, a 26-year-old man allegedly beheaded his wife on the outskirts of Bengaluru over suspicions of infidelity and rode to the police station with her severed head to give up, police mentioned on Saturday.The incident occurred late Friday evening in Heelalige village close to Chandapura in Anekal taluk. The accused, recognized as Shankar, was arrested quickly after he confessed to killing his wife, 25-year-old Manasa, on the police station.According to police, the couple had been married for over 5 years and shared a four-year-old daughter. Following a latest argument, Manasa had moved in with her mom. She returned on Friday night, reportedly in an try to reconcile for the sake of their daughter.“Around 8 pm, the couple got into another heated argument. Manasa denied having any affair.
