Fourth scare in 36 hours: Air India Express flight takes U-turn to Delhi; was on way to Ranchi | India News

NEW DELHI: A Ranchi-bound Air India Express flight was diverted again to Delhi on Monday after technical situation was suspected. This is the fourth such incident in the final 36 hours when a flight confronted emergency points mid-air.The flight was scheduled to land at Birsa Munda Airport at 6.20pm.“One of our flights returned to Delhi after takeoff due to a suspected technical issue. Post inspections and clearance, the aircraft continued scheduled operations,” Air India Express spokesperson stated.Other such incidents included a British F-35 fighter jet making an emergency touchdown in Kerala due to low gas on Sunday, a (*36*) flight from Frankfurt to Hyderabad turning again mid-air following a bomb risk, and an Air India flight from Hong Kong to Delhi returning to its level of origin after a suspected technical snag on Monday.
