Tirupati trust suspends 4 non-Hindu staffers for flouting code of conduct

VISAKHAPATNAM: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) suspended Saturday 4 staff for allegedly practising a non-Hindu faith, bringing the whole quantity of such suspensions to 5. The choice adopted a overview of a report by TTD’s vigilance division, which included what officers described as supporting proof of “gross misconduct” and non secular practices incompatible with the Tirupati temple trust’s code of conduct. The staff suspended are B Elizar, deputy government engineer (high quality management); S Rosi, workers nurse at BIRRD Hospital; M Premavati, grade-I pharmacist at BIRRD Hospital; and Dr G Asuntha, on deputation at SV Ayurveda Pharmacy and previously principal of SPW Polytechnic College. According to the official memos, the staff violated rule 3 of Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1964, which outlines basic requirements of conduct for govt servants.
