At least 21 individuals have been killed on Sunday (July 27, 2025) in an attack on church premises in jap Congo by Islamic State-backed rebels, based on a civil society leader.
The attack was carried out by members of the Allied Democratic Force (ADF) round 1 a.m. contained in the premises of a Catholic church in jap Congo’s Komanda. Several homes and retailers have been additionally burnt.
“More than 21 people were shot dead inside and outside and we have recorded at least three charred bodies and several houses burned. But the search is continuing,” Dieudonne Duranthabo, a civil society coordinator in (*21*), informed The Associated Press.
