Former India cricketer and worldwide coach Robin Singh on Wednesday introduced the launch of ‘Robin Singh Relations Cricket Academy’ in Dubai, Bengaluru, and the U.Ok., in strategic collaboration with companions in India and England.
The former all-rounder has designed the programme and will oversee each facet of it alongside some reputed ex-international cricketers. Former India pacer Debashish Mohanty and legendary West Indies cricketers Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Curtly Ambrose are a few of the notable names in the teaching panel.
“A defining feature of the RSR Cricket Academy is its ‘Play More, Train Less’ philosophy. Players will participate in assured weekly practice matches and be promoted into intra- and inter-school tournaments, prioritising real-game experience alongside structured coaching. No tall promises, just simple cricket,” mentioned Robin.
Update: Earlier, RSR had talked about that L. Balaji, T. Kumaran, Tanveer Jabbar and coach Ramji Srinivasan could be a part of the teaching group. However, the academy, on Friday, issued a clarification stating that the above-mentioned 4 won’t be concerned in any official or casual capability. Balaji, Kumaran and Ramji had been in attendance as friends for the launch of the academy.
