U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday (September 3, 2025) stated he will soon have answer on whether Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy will hold talks.
“I’m having a conversation with him very shortly, and I’ll know pretty much what we’re going to be doing,” Mr. Trump informed reporters at his Oval Office.
He didn’t make clear if he was speaking about Mr. Putin or Mr. Zelenskyy.
However, a White House official who was not authorised to talk publicly and spoke on situation of anonymity stated Mr. Trump was referring to Zelenskyy.
Mr. Trump additionally reiterated that he thought bringing an finish to the Russia-Ukraine battle can be “much easier” than it has confirmed to be.
