Ambulance falls into gorge, three killed in Himachal | India News

SHIMLA: Three individuals had been killed and two severely injured when an ambulance transporting a affected person from Jassur in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra district to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital in Punjab’s Ludhiana plunged into a deep gorge in Manghuwal close to Gagret in Una district in the early hours of Saturday.The accident occurred midway into the 200km journey. The ambulance driver misplaced management whereas negotiating a curve close to a broken portion of street in Manghuwal, police mentioned. Roads throughout Himachal have taken a battering this monsoon.The deceased had been recognized as Omkar Chand, Ramesh Chand and Sanjeev Kumar, natives of Pathiyar village in Nagrota Bagwan area of Kangra. Renu Bala and ambulance driver Bobby had been rescued from the wreckage and brought to Hoshiarpur Civil Hospital, round 35km from the spot.
