IndiGo suspends Kathmandu flights amid airport closure

NEW DELHI: IndiGo on Tuesday issued a journey advisory stating that each one flights to and from Kathmandu have been suspended due to the closure of the airport amid the prevailing scenario within the Nepalese capital. In its official assertion, the airline mentioned, “If your travel is impacted, you may conveniently opt for an alternate flight or claim a refund by visiting our website. We are closely monitoring the developments and coordinating with local authorities to resume operations at the earliest. Customers are advised to keep checking our official channels for the latest advisories and updates.” The suspension has already affected several flights. Four flights sure for Kathmandu had been diverted to Lucknow:
