BENGALURU: Cement producer Dalmia Bharat reported a 29% rise in third-quarter revenue on Wednesday, helped by sustained infrastructure demand. The New Delhi-based firm’s consolidated internet revenue rose to 2.63 billion rupees ($31.7 million) for the quarter ended Dec. 31 from 2.04 billion rupees 12 months in the past.
Income from operations rose 7.3% to 36 billion rupees, whereas gross sales quantity rose 8.1% to six.8 million tonnes.
Cement makers have been benefiting from a requirement surge within the housing and infrastructure sectors, aided additional by the federal government’s spending push. Cement costs in India, on common, rose 2.5% sequentially through the quarter, brokerage Systematix stated, serving to producers make extra from their gross sales.
