The BBC’s enterprise editor requested Rachel Reeves how Labour might be trusted after it dropped its opposition to lifting the cap on bankers’ bonuses.
Simon Jack reminded the shadow chancellor of her tweet three months in the past criticising the federal government for ending the cap.
Ms Reeves stated the “very last thing we want is extra chopping and adjustments” and stability was wanted for companies.
